For founders and leadership teams in growing companies

Build a business that can run without you

We put the structure and habits in place for your leadership team to carry the day-to-day, so your attention goes to the calls that actually need you.

The problem

If it all still lands on you, the system is missing.

01
No time
You work in the business every day, and never on it.
02
Can't let go
The wheel wobbles the moment you take your hands off it.
03
Every decision
Every problem, big or small, ends up on your desk.
04
Agreed, not done
The team nods in the meeting. Nothing changes.
05
Talent, no team
Capable people who don't add up to a team that executes.
06
Good intentions
New initiatives start strong and quietly die.

Why ORA

Tools don't change companies. Behaviour does.

Structure

Clear priorities, hard accountability, a weekly rhythm that holds under pressure. Built by an operator who helped scale a company from NOK 10M to 120M.

Behaviour

Most systems fail because people slide back. We work on the habits and resistance underneath, until the new way sticks.

We stay

No report and goodbye. We're in the room with your leadership team, and back every quarter.

How we work

Know. Build. Run.

Every engagement starts with a free First Meeting. Each stage stands on its own, and each one sets up the next.

Operators, not observers.

Co-founder · Structure and execution

10+ years of experience building and scaling founder-led companies. As COO and later CEO of a Norwegian wellness company, I was part of an organic growth journey from NOK 10 million to NOK 120 million in revenue, expanded into 12 new European markets and the US, and led a full business model shift from B2B to direct-to-consumer. Alongside my business career, I have served more than 15 years in the Norwegian Armed Forces in various leadership roles. Combining military leadership with an entrepreneurial mindset taught me something most strategy decks miss: what holds an organisation together when it counts, and what quietly pulls it apart.

I know what it's like to sit in the chair, because I've been there: the pressure, the stress, and the days when giving up feels easier than going on. My experience comes from both success and failure, and I value both equally.

At ORA, I lead the work on structure, systems and execution. I help founders and leaders turn their intent into something a team can actually do on a Monday morning: clear priorities, honest accountability, and a rhythm that holds when the week gets busy. Strategy is easy to talk about. Getting it done on the ground has always been my job, and it's exactly what I bring here.

Co-founder · Behaviour and performance

I'm a performance coach whose work sits at the meeting point of human behaviour and how organisations actually perform. I spent 15 years in the UK civil service, working in information management — making sure the right information reached the right people at the right time. It taught me how quickly large organisations lose clarity between the people who decide something and the people who have to act on it, and how much damage that gap can create.

From there I moved into performance coaching in the education sector, then trained as a speech and language therapist in the National Health Service — a job that is behaviour change under real constraints, with no room for theory that doesn't hold up in practice. I went on to found Express Speech and Language, building software that helps parents and schools assess and support children's speech faster, and then moved to Oslo to return to performance coaching in the private sector.

Whether it's in Government, healthcare, a start-up, or private business: the same challenge surfaced across all of them. Knowing what to do so rarely translates into doing it. The answer is almost never a lack of knowledge. It's behaviour — the habits, beliefs and quiet resistance that get in the way. And behaviour doesn't change through insight alone; it changes when there's a system holding it in place. That's what my first book, Built, Not Born, sets out, and it's the principle underneath everything I build now. A second, on leadership, is on the way.

FAQ

Straight answers.

Who do you work with?

Founder-led and owner-managed businesses — typically companies that have grown past what informal ways of working can carry. If the business still leans on you for almost everything, you're exactly who we built this for.

How long does an engagement last?

Anywhere from a single day to 24 months. Every engagement starts with a free First Meeting. From there it's Reset (one day), then Direction (two days), then Momentum, one session every quarter. Each stage stands on its own, and each sets up the next.

How quickly will we see results?

The first shift is immediate: you leave day one with the real problem named and the whole leadership team behind it. Visible change in how the business runs — decisions moving without you, priorities holding — comes as fast as 90 days.

Are you an AI consultancy?

No. We're a business consultancy focused on structure and behaviour. We encourage clients to use AI where it genuinely raises productivity — we use it ourselves — but our work is about how your business runs and how your people execute. That doesn't change with the tools.

What does it cost?

Reset starts from NOK 50,000 and Direction from NOK 100,000, set by the size and complexity of your business. Momentum is priced to fit once we know what your team needs. The first call is free, and you'll know the full cost of any stage before you commit to it. No retainers you didn't ask for, no surprise invoices.

Do you work in Norwegian or English?

Both. We're an Oslo-based team with one Norwegian and one British founder, and we deliver in whichever language your leadership team thinks in.

How is this different from a traditional consultancy?

A traditional firm studies your business and hands you a report. We work in the business with your leadership team, build the operating rhythm with you, and stay while it takes hold — because the gap is rarely knowing what to do. It's doing it.

Decide today. Start Monday.

The first call is free. You leave with your biggest constraint named, whether we work together or not.
